Before you start the online application, gather all of the documents that you will need to submit with the application:

1. Take a photo of or scan your Watercraft’s NC Wildlife Resources registration card.

2. Call your Watercraft’s insurer and add The Point Owners Association, Inc. as an “additional insured” on that policy. Ask the insurer to provide you with a “certificate of insurance” showing that the POA is a named insured. Take a photo of or scan that certificate. 

3. If the boat will be docked on a lift, work with HydroHoist or Hi & Dri to have them complete the POA certification form for your boat/lift combination, and certify that that the boat/lift combination is consistent with the POA’s Community Rule. Take a photo or scan that certificate form.

Community Pier Application

Complete and submit this application to obtain approval to dock any Watercraft or install any lift in a Community Pier Slip.

Be sure to read the Pier Rules before completing this application. Failure to obtain pre-approval will result in the Slipholder being fined and/or other consequences.
